“So this is the miracle that I’ve been dreaming of. So this is love.”

MY STYLE

It is my number one priority to stay out of the way of the labor/delivery team of nurses and doctors, and to make sure I am not in the way or interfering at all with the experience. I also give you plenty of space, as the mommy and daddy! I want this to be a special experience for you guys, and my goal is to be in the background – capturing moments here and there, and then stepping out of the room to give you time to yourselves as well.

LOCATION

I will come to you, wherever you are delivering your baby! Whether you are planning to deliver in a hospital, birth center, or in your home, I would love to document your unique birth story. Please note – if you are delivering outside of Anacortes, I do have an additional travel fee. For birth sessions in Oak Harbor and Burlington/Mount Vernon, there is a $50 travel fee. Please contact me for other areas and travel fee details.

WHEN TO BOOK

Although babies are unpredictable and are rarely born on the exact due date, I will still have a general idea so that I can start preparing on my end, & block out some time on my calendar around your due date (or scheduled C-section date). As your due date gets closer, we will be in touch – and once you go into labor I’ll have you (or your partner) text me asap so that I can clear my schedule and plan to be at your birth experience to capture those precious first moments!

DIGITALS

Every photo shoot package receives digital images with personal print release. This means that you will be able to print and share your images wherever you’d like, up to a size 8×12. If you’d like larger prints, I ask that you order them through me. Your images will be delivered via digital download and a backup disc. If you’d like to receive a USB drive with custom case, you can purchase that at an additional cost.

PRODUCTS

Your images are NOT meant to stay stuck on your computer forever! I truly believe that having tangible products is SO important. I have a lot of options for you to purchase products – including large prints, canvas wall art, custom photo albums, and more. After you book your shoot, I will send you a link to view all of my favorite products so you can start planning if you’d like to purchase something tangible.

HOW TO BOOK

Ready to book your session with me? Get in touch first to make sure that I will be able to block off time for your birth session (I take a very limited number of birth sessions each year). Then I also ask for a one-third retainer fee to book me as your birth photographer/videographer. I’ll send an invoice to you via Paypal, so it’s super simple (of course, I’ll also accept a cash or check deposit).

"I can not only attest to the caliber of her work but also to the fact that she is an absolute dream to work with! She has the ability to put you at complete ease and makes you not only comfortable but creates an enjoyable experience. For the birth photography we basically didn't even know she was there but somehow she managed to capture every precious moment so tastefully and with such skill."

LET'S DO THIS

"Hiring Kimberlee for our daughter's birth was the best decision we made. I didn't know how important birth photography was until we received the link to view our photos and video for the first time. It brought instant tears to our eyes as we were able to re-live that moment together again. Having this memory caught on photos and video is absolutely priceless."
